The number 1 seed, An Se Young from South Korea did not drop a single set leading up the the Australian Badminton Open Women’s Singles final against Indonesia’s Gregoria Mariska Tunjung.

Young continues this hot streak and defeats Tunjung 21 – 17, 21 – 9. Completing her run of not dropping a set during the tournament.

“An was quicker in court coverage and recovery as well as shot production than the Indonesian, which spelled a predictable ending. That said, the crowd still delighted in Tungjung’s hairpin net shots because it forced An to prove her retrieval abilities.”
